Listening to Graeme Bailey on @SiriusXMFC… We were so close to getting through an entire segment without him, mentioning Phil Foden.

It was hot wings today in the cafeteria. And I missed it. I am devastated.

.@samreich Love the fact that @dropout’s #MakeSomeNoise featured my son’s name. Hate the fact that it was for this prompt.

Bellingham to Real Madrid. Reminds me of Tchouaméni. Will he also regret this decision?

A friend of mine would say, “We don’t want you to tell us how well we take take a punch. We want you to stop punching us.”
So I’m 1 24 hour ICU senior call away from being done with them. I’ve been specifically commended for my ability to “handle pressure and manage overnight admissions excellently”. I feel reasonably qualified to say as a resident: this 24h system is not worth it.

I need my Twitter feed to be comletely filled with #AcrossTheSpiderVerse content. I want to see the art, learn about the animation, and celebrate everyone who worked on that film.

Harsh, but true. I’m still trying to accept this truth.

When the insurance company expects infants to take pills instead of liquid.
What is the insurance denial in your specialty that frustrates you and your patients the most?

I wish this man was my state representative.
Wow: Tennessee state Rep. Justin Jones, one of the Dems that the GOP is trying to expel from state legislature to protesting gun violence, calls out his colleagues on the floor ‘For years, one of your colleagues, an admitted child molester, sat in this chamber – no expulsion’

These medical students spent 75% of their training in the middle of a pandemic, in which they undoubtedly saw a field with an already high burnout rate reach astronomical numbers. I would guess that would make a much greater impact on their career path and quality of life.
No, EM has always been popular but a report 1.5 years ago from one of the National orgs predicted an 8k surplus of EM docs in 10 years, so I think people are hesitant to apply because of that

Many med students seek a neuro elective because their school doesn’t have one. With a critical shortage of neurologists, it’s time that med schools offer and require a core clerkship in neuro. They need to be exposed in order to be inspired! #neurotwitter #MedTwitter #meded

I just finished shopping at the GR @WholeFoods. I’ve never felt so unwelcome to be at a grocery store with kids in my life.

Spread the word. This is not an outlier case. This is @UHC’s standard practice.

On a recorded call, a @UHC nurse and an insurance broker laugh while discussing a patient whose claim had just been rejected. They agree that any appeal would be a waste of the family’s time and money: “We’re still gonna say no.” propub.li/3DzG5l4

This is @RCE_Official’s dream thread. It’s just missing some efficient strongest shapes.
Bridges represent some of the greatest achievements of human engineering and architecture. Here are 12 of the most extraordinary: 1. Millau Viaduct, France (2004) - the world's tallest bridge.

I’ve updated my “Who do you want to have dinner with?” It’s now @samreich and the #NoiseBoys from @dropout. Actually, just let me eat dinner with crew while filming #MakeSomeNoise.

Who’s the keeper? If it’s Emi Martinez, then I’m taking the MCAT again.
If your life depended on it, would you rather try to score a penalty kick, make a free throw, or pass the MCAT
