Ontario is stepping up to keep critical mineral processing at home, while cutting permitting times by 50%. At the Critical Minerals for Defence Conference, I promoted Ontario’s plan to repatriate value-added investment to our country, as global investors turn to Ontario as Canada’s best place to mine, process, and build.

Since my arrival at the @ONenergy, David Lebeter has been a strong partner and forward-looking leader at @HydroOne. I wish him and his family my very best in his retirement. Congratulations to Megan Telford as she assumes the role of President and CEO. I look forward to our ongoing collaboration to power the next chapter of our country’s growth, supporting transmission projects from coast to coast to coast. Ontario will continue to lead the charge for the Federal Government to invest in one unified electricity grid.
