Masking on planes should have become mandatory during any one of our last epidemics (or pandemic). EVERY virus movie has a scene where the virus jumps to international passengers on a flight and spreads globally. If we want to be a global society, we need global precautions.

Masking on planes is one of the easiest lifestyle changes we could collectively make to halt or slow future pandemics. Vulnerable ppl have to fly for various reasons and have no choice but to be trapped in a tin can w you. You should be home if sick, masked if flying.

I love Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie so much. It's in theaters for a very limited time. Don't watch a trailer, just go see it. It's one of my favorite things made this decade, maybe ever.

Don’t let media histrionics mislead you: this season’s respiratory illness activity has been comparable to last season’s, even with a 15% increase in holiday travel according to TSA screening data.   The updated @CDCgov childhood immunization schedule adjusted the annual pediatric flu vaccination from a universal recommendation to shared clinical decision-making. That means that pediatric flu vaccination decision should be based on individual patient characteristics as opposed to population-wide factors.   In our scientific review of childhood immunizations, @HHSgov found no randomized controlled trials demonstrating reduction of community transmission, hospitalizations, or mortality in children from the pediatric vaccine. Some randomized controlled trials show reduced flu infection. Like all immunizations on the childhood schedule, the pediatric flu vaccine is covered by insurance for whoever chooses it. We’ve empowered parents and health care providers to choose the best course of action for each child.
