Its very nice to be identified as an outstanding peer reviewer. Its lots of fun and very rewarding to read all these great proposals and hammer it out in committee -- it would be more fun if our government properly funded the scientific enterprise.

🧵 What about “space” is important for episodic memory? Out now in WIREs Cog Sci, we review historical and current thinking on the relationship between space & memory and suggest that the key link is the involvement of visuospatial imagination. doi.org/10.1002/wcs.1645 1/7

Working with @mdgrilli is super fun and we wrote a super cool article proposing how aging isn't all bad when it comes to autobiographical memory authors.elsevier.com/a/1frNX…

Lovely study of knowledge & similarity effects on memory - expert birdwatchers organize birds based on conceptual features, novices based on perceptual features - this impacts memory in cool ways E Wing @FordBurles @DrJenRyan1 A Gilboa @PNASNews bit.ly/3AMGLTc

Hey, want to hear something cool? Jeff Zacks and I are jointly recruiting a postdoc. This is truly a unique and cool position bridging two neighboring labs equally obsessed with event memory, narratives, and cognitive aging. Get in touch! Retweets greatly appreciated :)

Another great project from the lab from @jogaru1818 co-lead by @sylvain_baillet. The results provide evidence for the shift in Aβ-tau induced effects on neural activity from a pattern of hyperactivity to hypoactivity as AD pathology and cognitive decline increase.
If you are in San Diego don't miss my poster presentation on neurophysiological (MEG) correlates of amyloid and tau during preclinical phases of AD. Monday session - Developing topics neuroimaging biomarkers 12:30 to 2:15pm! #AAIC22 @sylvain_baillet @sylv_villeneuve @AlexWiesman
