কয়েকটি বিক্ষিপ্ত আসনে আশার আলো বাদ দিলে, ২০২৬ নির্বাচন বামপন্থী দলগুলির জন্য খুব একটা ভালো যায়নি। সেটা সাংগঠনিক দুর্বলতা না এখনও মানুষের বামপন্থীদের ওপরে ভরসার অভাব, সেটা বলার মতন গভীর অন্তর্দৃষ্টি আমার নেই। পার্টির রাজ্য ও লোকাল নেতৃত্ব ভালো বলতে পারবেন।(১/৮)

One positive fallout of this internal squabble is that a lot of crimes are getting validated. Isn't it a crime to fake illness while in custody of a central law enforcement agency and take advantage of the situation? Would any central agency act on this tip off? I think not!

জার্মানিতে হলোকাস্ট সমগ্র বিশ্বের জন্য shocking ছিলো। এরকম অমানবিক চিত্র, কার্যকলাপ দেখে গোটা দেশ বিস্মিত হয়েছিলো। এবং সবচেয়ে বেশি যে প্রশ্ন উঠেছিলো কে আপাতভাবে নিরীহ শিক্ষিত সাধারণ মানুষ যারা শিক্ষিক, ডাক্তার, উঁকিল, বিচারক - সেসব মানুষ, সাধারণ মানুষ কিভাবে এতবড়ো একটা হত্যালীলাকে সমর্থন করলো বা এদের morality তে কেনো বাঁধলো না? এবং সেখানেই দেখা যায় কিভাবে morality কেও manipulate করা যায়।

দেখা গেছে যে বিশেষ একটাবিশেষ identity কে বিপুল পরিমানে যখন "dehumanize" করা শুরু হয়, তখন মানুষ এর মস্তিষ্কে এটা কাজই করেনা যে সে যাকে ঘৃণা করছে সে একটা মানুষ। তখন সে ঘৃণার চোখে অপর মানুষকে "পোকা মাকড় " বা "আরশোলা " বলেই ভাবতে থাকে। মানুষ বলে অনুভব করতে পারেনা।
Echo chamber effect : ঘৃণার মানসিকতা চৰ্চা হচ্ছে আবার সেটা এতটাই acceptable একটা গ্রুপের কাছে যে অত্যন্ত অমানবিক, নোংরা, নিষ্ঠুর কথা বলার জন্য একজন আরেকজন কে বাহবা দিচ্ছে। ফলে সে আরো বেশি নিষ্ঠুরতার চৰ্চা করছে।
ভালোভাবে দেখলে আমাদের দেশেও সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায় এই প্রক্রিয়া চলছে। কিভাবে বিপুল পরিমানে সাধারণ আপাত "ভালো মানুষ " উগ্র, হিংস্র, শয়তান হয়ে উঠছে তার উদাহরণ হিসেবে চোখে পড়লো একটা পোস্ট এবং সেটার কমেন্ট সেকশন।

Deeply shocking to read this official US statement, which contains absolutely no expression of regret or condolence for the loss of innocent Indian lives. How can a “friend” and strategic partner be so deeply insensitive?
Why couldn’t a non-compliant commercial vessel have been stopped using other, non-lethal means? Is it not possible to disable a ship's propulsion or steering without firing missiles targeted to kill civilian crew members?
Practically every merchant ship navigating these crucial waters has Indian crew on board. Are they all considered fair game for US missiles now?
This approach is unacceptable and I hope @DrSJaishankar had said so to @marcorubio.

Latest Anthropic AI models now not available outside the US, which means India also.
Five straight lessons for India
1) All frontier technologies are now geo-weaponised.
India leads in not one of these.
2) Indian R&D in frontier tech is negligible, and private firms are least bothered. Expect no sudden change.
3) The national mood now is anti-science, pro-superstition, at all levels. Frontier Tech is a social product, an outcome of scientific temper science investments science institutions progressive mindset. We are in reverse gear.
4) RSS BJP don't understand science. Have no understanding of (and need for) science as a national weapon. They cannot bring change. They don't want to.
5) We are a near-total American digital colony already. US can use the kill switch on anything any day - imagine Google products and Microsoft products going dark one fine morning.
We have just wasted 13 years doing other things.
Now there's a sudden panic.
But Science & Frontier Tech is not what Modi or RSS can give India. First accept that truth.

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
