Dude, don't lie to us, no one fucking cares about the dynamic cloth interactions and the arm animation.
Procedural animation of other body parts, on the other hand.. 😅
Why reinvent the wheel? By knowing the cloth sim logic and writing it from scratch (with the help of AI answering my questions) I can add fancy dynamic cloth interactions between an arm animation to flip a cape back when it gets in front.
I added two soft grab constraints to the cape cloth sim to force flip the cape to the back, tied with an arm animation and hand position in flight.
It's great that it works as a prototype, and shows the level of control I have over the cloth sim. But for the actual game play, I will need another pass so that this doesn't happen too often to be distracting to the eye of a player.
