Interesting read! It appears that you cannot just strap ve-tokenomics on, and everything magically works. You need to approach it thoughtfully. Everyone who tried engineered their own vision of ve-tokenomics. Time showed that @CurveFinance and @AerodromeFi did it well, but some others not so much. Ve-tokenomics cannot be approached as traditional "company management" - it cannot be managed. It by itself controls the protocol. But it must be very well engineered from the start.

The consensus among many is that it's truly over and we'll never come back. Truth is, they've all been wrong consistently and many times in the past. It's why I so often preach confirmation before prediction. We've already seen cycles can be highly different than before. And even macro events are no guarantee because liquidity has a BIAS where it flows. And against the herd mentality? Markets can stay oversold for a long time just as they can stay overbought. 1/ The herd thought Q4 2024 was bullish and it was. 2/ The herd thought Q4 2025 was bullish and it wasn't. Can Q1 be good? Potentially yes. Can it also be Q2-3-4? Definitely so. Personally don't believe in the 4-year cycle working like clockwork forever. Doesn't mean that this time won't be the same though. It could. But eternally guessing when liquidity arrives AND has a bias towards altcoins is meaningless. Because in the end we are still using 100s or indicators from the past. 1/ This has never happened before! 2/ we've never had 3/ Every time we 4/ The death cross did 5/ The herd said 6/ The earth is flat because We've also never had a BTC ATH before the halving and here we are. Bitcoin dominance has always also dropped mid cycle and not just at the end and here we are. Thousands of more examples like these. Next cycle people will make predictions based on the different indicators from today and so on and so on. The eternal loop because people don't want to confirm. They endlessly only want to predict and this needs outdated indicators from the past. Simple. Meanwhile 99% of crypto twitter has been saying for the entirety of 2025 that you'll be late when you confirm and miss the bottom and still here we are. We are all at the mercy of the markets and whenever liquidity arrives AND has a bias towards alts. This will reflect itself in the charts including inflows and volume. Till then I'll be here and posting the same thing over and over again. Confirmation when it's there and no confirmation when there isn't. I'll be here 🤝
