Interesting study!
Biggest thing to ever come out of my little group. Pls help spread this finding! We found clean, CAUSAL evidence that the shingles vaccine prevents a good chunk of dementia cases. So, could a virus cause Alzheimer’s->YES! Hear me out & see preprint: bit.ly/3MVqXU9 🧵1/

What was the impact of delaying non-urgent surgeries during COVID-19 on patients? "It affects every aspect of your life" ...I suspect findings still relevant as #healthcare systems struggle to meet demands for surgical care. cmajopen.ca/content/11/1/E90 #surgery #waitlist

Parents are taking their kids to hospitals because they can't breathe not because they don't have tylenol.
Today, Premier @ABDanielleSmith and I announced that the province has secured 5 million bottles of children's acetaminophen and ibuprofen for Alberta families. This will help ease the worries of parents and help with the pressures on our children's hospitals.

The court said (reasonably) that an expert should decide public health interventions. Not a twitter expert and not a politician. We may need masking again in the future. Having a politician (non expert) preemptively preclude that shows how far we have sunk.
My full statement on the recent court decision regarding the re-masking of children in schools can be viewed here: bit.ly/3WgLWDK #abpoli #ableg
