people who dont read the code are not serious people and it takes a serious person to ship production software

Intelligence should be open, accessible, and ready to build with, empowering every developer, everywhere. GLM-5.2 is now available to all GLM Coding Plan users, including Lite, Pro, Max, and Team plans. docs.z.ai/devpack/latest-mod… As our new flagship model, GLM-5.2 delivers powerful coding capabilities, usable 1M-context support, and continued strengths in long-horizon tasks. API and Chatbot services will launch next week. The model will also be officially open-sourced next week under the MIT License. The future of AI is open, and it belongs to the people.

I still see many of the AI-ism's in Fable that are obvious and yucky. but also see some really great insights when having normal conversations. I wouldn't pay token pricing / coding, but I would like to have more chat conversations with it.

who has the best deep research system right now? like if I wanted a report on all the models released since ~May, and expect a lot of web searches and link crawling, where do I go?

this is a very good idea. 👍 different modalities as input is very unexplored still

I always thought some form of digital tourism would be a great way to sell headsets, but never materialized substantially there are a few quest apps that let you do immersive google street view and it's pretty awesome
You can now experience Apple Maps using Gaussian splats on Apple Vision Pro. Looking forward to the day when we can walk these streets and explore buildings in a fully immersive mode, alone or with other Personas.

>Fable on hard tasks writes English that is very difficult for humans to understand being easy to understand was my number 1 reason for preferring anthropic models over others, so pretty disappointed
This is exactly the behavior I have noticed. Fable on hard tasks writes English that is very difficult for humans to understand. The question is will this behavior only get worse with more powerful models.

i don’t know how anyone builds a business off of anthropic models with the current lack of clarity. afaik there’s no official policy. there are ~two paragraphs in a multi hundred page system card pdf about what may or may not happen. how can you rely on them right now?
Even if you dont have an ethical/moral stance on the limitations of Anthropic models, there's a practical business one: I will avoid Anthropic models because they keep imposing more limits on the products I can build. I'm not going to build on a completely walled off ecosystem.

curious if this will translate to mlx or llama cpp for macs
Google releases DiffusionGemma.✨ The new 26B-A4B diffusion text model runs locally on 18GB RAM. It supports high-speed text generation, thinking, image, video and 256K context. Run and train via Unsloth Studio. GGUF: huggingface.co/unsloth/diffu… Guide: unsloth.ai/docs/models/diffu…

when this model is inevitably dogshit at certain things, you will never know why. is it closed sourced harness? the model? the classifier? the api? did your prompt even get to the right model intact? the black box gets darker. honestly probably time for me to move on
Labs starting to pull up the ladders on the ability to diffuse AI was inevitable. Doing it without telling the user is misaligned.

anthropic won't let you use fable for biology, chemistry, ai research, or anything that accelerates human progress. that makes it the perfect tool for developing blockchains

honestly, it's fascinating how this is set up. the model writes typescript to interact with a game server. you (the user) can visually see what the bot is doing, but the llm only ever see's an interaction log code.

one of the positives to come out of the covid era is takeaway packaging got much better. still much to improve on though. neat packaging here, venting to prevent steam is probably #1 low hanging fruit.
For the first time ever at this WWDC.. Apple casually flexed one of its weirdest innovation.. the patented Apple Pizza Box 🍕 Once upon a time.. Apple decided the ordinary soggy pizza box wasn’t upto its standards So Apple literally invented its own pizza box.. used exclusively at the Apple Park Unibody design, eco friendly, perfectly stackable and custom vanted so employees can carry the pizza back to their pods without a soggy crust …meanwhile Dominos is still using the same square box design from 1940s 😭 Only Apple can overengineer a pizza box this hard

i can’t believe we’re going to normalize this behavior.
Interesting tidbit from the Mythos/Fable system card: Anthropic are invisibly nerfing any requests that target frontier LLM development.

Mira Murati says frontier AI should be built like a tandem bike: "Having humans in the loop doesn't quite describe it because it sounds like a checkpoint where we're signing off something, and then you're good to go." "It's more like creating systems that are not just autonomously advancing and leaving civilization behind, but are more like a tandem bike." "When you're going up a hill, maybe whoever is stronger is pedaling harder. But both hands are on the wheel. That's quite important because that's a different system. It's a system designed for collaboration." "It will increase the level of agency that people have, and also it will help us steer the research direction towards creating outputs that are more value-aligned." @miramurati at Bloomberg Tech live with @emilychangtv

SpaceX? oh you mean the Azure competitor?
SpaceX has just announced that they have entered into a $920 million per month agreement with Google to provide compute capacity, according to a new filing. "On June 5, 2026, we entered into a Cloud Service Agreement with Google with respect to access to compute capacity. The customer has agreed to pay us $920 million per month from October 2026 through June 2029, with capacity ramping up through September at a reduced fee. The compute capacity provided includes approximately 110,000 NVIDIA GPUs, CPUs, memory, and other related components. After December 31, 2026, the agreement may be terminated by either party upon 90 days' notice. The customer will retain ownership of, and intellectual property rights in, its content, Al models, and related data."

I’m actually interested what the post training process looks like. Are there Tiananmen Square environments?
DeepSeek V4 “improved” the code and said nothing happened in Tiananmen Square on June 4, 1989
