🚨The Palestine Red Crescent Society is devastated by the killing of eight of its EMTs in Rafah, who were targeted by the Israeli army while performing their humanitarian duties. They were responding to an emergency call to assist the wounded following Israeli airstrikes in the Al-Hashashin area of Rafah in the Gaza Strip.
A ninth EMT remains missing and is believed to have been detained.
The names of the ambulance crew members who were killed are:

3.Saleh Moammar
4.Rifaat Radwan
5.Mohammad Behloul
6.Ashraf Abu Labda
7.Mohammad Al-Hila
8.Raed Al-Sharif

ALT The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is standing with the Palestine Red Crescent and calling for urgent access and information, following seven days of silence on the fate of nine medics in Gaza. The IFRC is gravely concerned for the ambulance crews of the Palestine Red Crescent who came under heavy gunfire while responding in the early hours of 23 March in the Al-Hashashin area of Rafah. Since then, there has been no communication with the teams. International Humanitarian Law is clear that humanitarian and healthcare workers must be protected and respected. It is vital that there is information and access to ensure the safe return of these humanitarians to their families who are living in a nightmare without knowing if their loved ones are alive.

We strongly condemn the killing of four members of the @PalestineRCS. Their ambulance was hit on Salah al-Din Street at the entrance of Deir al-Balah in the middle of the Gaza Strip. This is unacceptable.
We express our profound sadness & send our deepest condolences to those who lost their loved ones & stand in solidarity with our colleagues at @PalestineRCS.

🚨 The arrival moment of our colleague Bahaa Badr al-Din today, after being injured in an Israeli occupation forces' attack on a Red Crescent ambulance on Rashid Street in western #Gaza City, while he was part of a humanitarian mission to rescue several martyrs and injured individuals.
