Earlier today, we had the honour of welcoming the Strategy & Policy Council from @UrugwiroVillage to Solid’Africa. They explored our Farm-to-Plate model and the full scope of our nutrition infrastructure. Solid Africa’s Farm in Rugende is where it all begins! Through our farm to plate model, we partner with over 7,000 smallholder farmers, more than half women. We provide training in climate smart agriculture and locally source food for nutritious meals in public schools and hospitals. Meals are prepared in our clean energy kitchens and delivered across Kigali with our electric vehicle fleet! Today, we serve six public hospitals and six schools.
