During both our peaks we were looking after 2 or 3 patients like this with support staff from other areas who despite being terrified stepped up to do the tasks they could. Please donβt make us do this a 3rd time

This is a critical care patient. You cannot learn to look after patients as sick as this in a couple of days! ICU nursing is a speciality that demands significant knowledge and skill! Look after ICU nurses who are really struggling right now STAY AT HOME @BACCNUK

Has been like this for the last 2 months in the North. Intense and sustained pressure on all services and all personnel: medics, physios, dieticians, pharmacists, domestic staff, everybody. But especially for the nursing staff. On the back of 10 months of wearing PPE. Grim.
