Clutch Win Probability Added leaderboard for the 1st four games of the 2026 NBA Finals.
This counts all potential clutch plays - field goals, free throws, rebounds, turnovers, steals, blocks, and assists.
The Hornets have held an interest in Domantas Sabonis since the trade deadline, but remain unwilling to offer a 1st.
Charlotte believes Sabonis can amplify their young trio of LaMelo Ball, Kon Knueppel and Brandon Miller.
Charlotte is only willing to include expiring contracts.
We shouldn’t burn a 1st on something that almost certainly won’t be a long term solution.
We’d walk into this deal with the understanding that eventually we’d have to pivot to a more defensively slanted big.

I understand how he fits the offense and that we’ve got a decade long playoff drought.
Let’s say it works and we win 50 games or something. How do we prevent ourselves from walking into the playoffs KNOWING the defensive personnel will catch up with us sooner rather than later?
