You look at Labour this week and wonder if anyone in government is thinking straight. Assisted dying back in Parliament. Labour MPs planning a “summer of sex”. Billions for cycle lanes while defence is underfunded. It’s like the Labour students union is running the country. Britain needs focus. Defence. Energy. Work. Security. Growth. So I’m giving a speech at 11am today on how we solve the problem of Defence funding. The Conservatives are doing the hard thinking because our country deserves better than gimmicks, drift and fatuous nonsense.

Either because of constant attacks on every front, or because we become surrounded with an enemy coalition that is a genuine existential threat. After October 7, we cannot accept that. We will not accept that. And everyone should accept THAT.

Why is Sir Keir Starmer’s Government set to ban under-16s from accessing 10 major social media platforms — including X — but not left-wing platforms like Bluesky? Since coming to power, this Government has been openly hostile to X, a forum for debate that prides itself on free speech. Ministers have even floated the idea of blocking UK citizens’ access to the platform altogether. Starmer can no longer pretend this is solely about protecting children.

Yes it was made by a Jewish company during the British mandate. Do you know what else is younger than this manhole? More than 60% of the world’s nation states. Roughly two thirds of the UN’s member states were created AFTER Israel was created. A large majority of these new countries experienced significant violence, deaths & forced migrations during their formation. 60–70 of those new states saw wars of independence, civil wars, ethnic conflict, partition violence, or mass displacement. But according to antisemites, it is only the single solitary Jewish state that lacks legitimacy. There’s a reason they think that and it is precisely the same reason that Jewish state must endure.

I’ll just say what I see. Restore Britain can dress this up however they want, but in Makerfield this does one thing: it helps Labour. That is not an opinion. That is how first-past-the-post works. If you split the vote between people who broadly want the same direction of change, the side you’re trying to remove can walk through the middle and win with less support than they should ever need. People can support who they want. Rupert Lowe can set up whatever party he wants. But don’t insult people’s intelligence by pretending vote splitting suddenly isn’t real because it’s inconvenient for your narrative. Which is anti Reform before anything else, proven by mass social media posting. Underneath all the branding, all the flags, all the speeches and all the “we’re not splitting the vote” nonsense, the result is the same. And in Makerfield, that means Andy Burnham and Labour get exactly what they need. A vote for Restore that does not support Robert Kenyon is a vote for Andy Burnham. You can deny it all you want. We know. We see. We understand how it works. You don't have to like me, I really couldn't care less, but stop denying reality. Anyone with a brain would do what it takes to stop Burnham getting in that seat.
