Reminder that US healthcare is hot mess: I (the prescriber) spent >60min on the phone with an insurance company to get approval for an April refill of *BIKTARVY* to be filled 2 WEEKS early just so my patient can travel internationally x4 weeks and NOT RUN OUT OF THEIR HIV MEDS.

RE hand wringing about US ID fellowship match results: If supply of ID doctors < demand, income can go up. ID docs need to stop give expertise away for < optimal rates. Too much work is done for low $ or for free. @IDSAInfo should teach business and negotiation skills.

Former Maricopa resident (& did not vote for Richer) but enraged/dismayed by this. @MaricopaVote officials were *incredible* PH partners in the thick of the pandemic. HUGE new fence now surrounds their building for safety. Do better, AZ residents. open.spotify.com/episode/1s4…
