I am pleased and honoured to join the Board of the Bihar Industrial Development Chamber of Commerce (BIDCC), Bihar, India. Bihar, home to more than 13.3 crore (133 million) people, offers tremendous opportunities for growth and investment in agriculture, industry, infrastructure, education, technology, entrepreneurship and skilled human resources. Bihar is one of the most historically significant regions of India. On a personal note, I still remember my first visit to Patna, the capital of Bihar, in 1984 after being selected for admission to a Bachelor of Engineering program and invited to choose my engineering discipline and institution. Looking back, it is a special moment that I now have an opportunity to contribute, in my own way, to the growth and prosperity of Bihar through BIDCC. I also look forward to supporting opportunities for collaboration between Bihar and Australia in education, research, skills development, agriculture, infrastructure, technology, and industry.
