Tonight Lisburn marked the 38th anniversary of the half marathon attack that claimed the lives of six soldiers. Mayor Councillor Brian Higginson said: "We return here each year to honour their memory and to ensure that their service, integrity and sacrifice are never forgotten. "Tonight, we stand together in witness and remembrance: for those who were injured, for the families and colleagues of the soldiers, and for all who continue to carry the memory of this attack." The AI doomer crowd claimed that GPT-3 shouldn't be released because it was going to destroy us all In fact, OpenAI used fear to transition from being open to closed AI!! 😢 3 years later, AI hasn't killed a single person and there are open-source models that are 100x more powerful than GPT-3 Instead AI has saved lives with drug discovery and helped patch security vulnerabilites

Thank you, Lorcan 🤍 Lorcan McLoughlin will depart the province this summer following the expiry of his contract. After joining the Academy in 2022, Lorcan made his senior debut in 2023 and went on to make five appearances for Ulster. Everybody at Ulster Rugby wishes Lorcan all the very best for the future.

No. But it looks strong on tv when your government looks weak on defence. It’s a political move to look strong on defence in a week that’s been a disaster for the PM. Nobody is fooled and had key ministers in the department not resigned… the tanker would likely have passed unhindered.

Sinn Féin’s Willie Clarke is a perfect example of how the party is framing the Belfast attempted beheading. Instead of addressing immigration policy, vetting or how the attacker got here, the focus is repeatedly shifted to NHS workers and racism. It’s a manipulative form of framing. By constantly linking immigration to NHS staff, politicians ‘encourage’ people to associate immigration with the nurse who cared for them or the doctor who helped a loved one. The debate stops being about policy, vetting or numbers and becomes about personal feelings of gratitude. That’s an effective way of changing how people think about an issue without actually addressing the concerns being raised, shifting the debate from facts to emotions to avoid answering any real question……… maith thú 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

This morning’s flight takes us from Heathrow to Toronto, climbing northwest over the Atlantic, Newfoundland and Labrador before turning inland toward one of North America’s great cities. If you watch the route on @flightradar24, it will appear to curve dramatically north. Before plunging back south to #Toronto. But here’s the interesting part… It’s actually the closest thing to a straight line. Aircraft fly what’s known as a Great Circle Route, the shortest distance between two points on a sphere. Because maps flatten a round Earth onto a flat page, that shortest path appears curved, even though it’s the most efficient way to travel. So while it looks like we’re taking the scenic route via Newfoundland, we’re actually doing the opposite. Going as straight as we can. And speaking of Toronto, the city is enjoying its moment on the world stage as one of the host cities for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, I’m looking forward to being part of that, even for 24H. Toronto by lunchtime. 🇨🇦✈️ #PilotLife #A350 #Toronto #GreatCircle #AvGeek #FlightPlanning #WorldCup2026 #FlightDeckView #AboveTheClouds #AirlineLife

Trump is pressuring Iran to sign the MOU on his terms, paying no money upfront No surprise Iran now says no signing tomorrow Little chance of a deal without unfreezing Iran’s assets That’s the “trap”: neither side can accept a clear strategic defeat Trump’s post:

What Trump has managed to do here is truly incredible if you think about it. This guy started a war with no plan of his own. His best shot was the Israeli plan. And yet this guy worked tirelessly to undermine the same Israeli plan at every corner - until all the main facets of it were blocked and there was no plan left. And now he's about to eat a big Iranian sh*t sandwich while calling it total victory. This is not only humiliating for him, and I doubt he's bothered by it. He probably has a humiliation kink. But more importantly, this is utterly destructive for the U.S. prestige and its strategic goals. And obviously Israel is not bound by any stupid deal and will do what it must do. Make no mistake, I always knew this guy was a moron. But I figured maybe he can be a useful moron. But no, this moron is completely useless. Good for nothing.

Murdered in his house for revealing U.S. bio-labs in Ukraine, December, 2024. He laid everything out with receipts, so Washington gave Ukrainian Special Forces carte-Blanche to assassinate him. Vikki Nuland confessed precisely the same details at a Senate oversight committee but, Khazarians don’t often eat their own. RIP hero 🇷🇺 You are now vindicated 🇷🇺
⚡️Briefing by the Chief of Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Protection Troops of Russian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov on analysis of documents relating to U.S. military and biological activities (April 7, 2023 Key points • We show more personalities of the list of Pentagon biological research subjects: Eliot Jacobs Pearlman, Gregory Glass, Andrew Pekosz, Natalia Rodina, Yelena Nesterova. • Fleeing from responsibility for their involvement in bioweapons projects, many of the individuals involved left Ukraine. In order to stop any leaks, the U.S. administration is taking immediate action to locate and retrieve material on the Pentagon's illegal activities. • Through the Science and Technology Center in Ukraine, work is carried out on two fronts: collecting data on the location of staff already experienced in so-called 'Ukrainian projects' and searching for new specialists in the field of weapons of mass destruction development. • During the training, participants will be invited to continue working on closed projects in and outside Ukrainian territory. • We do not rule out the possibility that under the cover of such courses, efforts may be made to plan biological weapons provocations and to start an information campaign against the Russian Federation. <...> • The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation has previously reported on 'directed evolution' research by U.S. pharmaceutical companies, the so-called Big Pharma, as well as corruption and collusion with U.S. government agencies related to the development and production of vaccine drugs. • According to the information we have, collusion between officials and the manufacturers of Pfizer's anti-COVID vaccine has allowed drugs with serious side-effects to be put into circulation. • Specialists still have a number of questions about the strange variability and geographical origins of COVID-19 variants for most viruses. telegra.ph/Briefing-by-the-C…
