I’m calling this out for what it is: a complete misrepresentation of the facts.
As confirmed in Estimates today, the $1.5m referred to in this video relates to a single item used by the ADF - going overseas for manufacture, before subsequently returning to Australia for our use.

Very sorry to learn of the tragic death of a Richmond firefighter in Grose Vale. This will be felt throughout the Hawkesbury and emergency services community.

Whilst trying to serve, support and protect the community, one of our firefighters has paid the ultimate sacrifice.
