I got this note from @surfshark Since I no longer need for a VPN, I did nothing. They stated: “Your subscription expires tomorrow”… unless I updated my credit info, which I did not. But my out of date credit card has been charged… so they lied. Cancel @surfshark

Is there any intel on the influence @elonmusk will have over U.S. attitudes toward solar, batteries and EVs? He has influence over @realDonaldTrump and the ability to offer insight. Maybe there’s already lots of discussion about this that folks can direct me to?

What’s the problem in America? Well, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck… oh wait, someone just shot the duck. (Guns. The problem is guns).
"You've got a beautiful country. You've got beautiful people. But what's the problem: guns. How does a seven-year-old have a gun?" Great question.

Does the precedent set by major cities like Paris offer any insight to smaller cities like Regina?
Paris 🇫🇷 is removing half its street parking to free up space for people. Cars 🚗 in Paris take up 50% ❗️of public space.👇👇 🎥 @wef

It’s a precarious situation. We need to carefully & persistently transition away from oil and gas at the fastest rate possible. Too fast and we risk cataclysmic political events…and economic mayhem. Too slow and we risk cataclysmic weather events…and economic mayhem.

The effect of CO2 on the climate is undeniable—as is our reliance on massive amounts of energy to sustain life, economies & political stability. If we simply turned the oil taps off, we’d trigger a climate/energy version of “the bends”. We need gradual, persistent transition.

As always, my last tweet of the year - rising carbon dioxide (CO₂)... There is no deadline. Any reduction in emissions will reduce future climate warming. I am hopeful! Thank you all for following! 🙂 Visualization/info by @gcarbonproject: globalcarbonproject.org/carb…

So simple. So effective. I love innovations that are obvious in retrospect.
