just never forget that the devs who yap about AI being the best thing ever all day never really knew how to program well to begin with.
They are idiots telling you that the world is solved (charitable read) or worse, they are selling you something and are attempt to deceive you.
This is why we see the same cycle every time. Opus 4 = God's gift to humanity to OMG its utter trash within a few months. The same thing happens with every model release because these people don't even know what dev is. They are larpers.
I believe this is what Geohotz meant when he: "I’m calling it now, the adoption of AI agents into software development will be one of the most costly mistakes in the field’s history."

You can't believe ANYTHING Anthropic say. One minute their Mythos model is so dangerous that only a select few can use it.
Then they release it with a few tweaks.
Then it gets disabled because of aforementioned danger.
But now it's just like GPT 5.5.
They are absolutely f××king ridiculous. How that company is worth so much is beyond me.

Taste is a weird thing. Some people love it but for me, this is awful. Hard to read, distracting and just not nice.
I'm glad they gave us the options because you can't please everyone with something like Liquid Glass. It's like forcing everyone to like Marmite.

Liquid Glass max tinted is much better. I can live with that. And I’m so glad they got rid of the highlights on the home/app screens.

Call it jealousy, call it what you want. But I'm so sick of grifters on this app posting crappy one-shotted designs which don't even pass basic WCAG tests etc., and getting thousands of likes, and following up with "premium prompts for ABC", which also have thousands of likes.
I've literally been doing this job for 29 years and pride myself on actual craftsmanship and real customer/client service and my contemt, if I'm lucky, gets 1 or 2 likes.
Sorry, rant over. Just sick of the grift getting rewarded. I'm absolutely fed up of it.

This is one of those annoying things with iOS for me. You have to be careful where you swipe. In general use, that often means you are opening and closing things until you get the right thing.
Keep it simple, stupid.
Android does this so well and it works perfectly every time. Much better UX.
