"There’s no more natural nature," says the landscape architect @KateOrff. "Now it’s a matter of design." I wrote about her, and the idea of building with nature as we adapt to climate change, in this week's @NewYorker newyorker.com/magazine/2021/…

Can't wait to read it! it's thrilling how you continue to find new ways to connect people and place to climate work, to our great benefit. Congratulations!
🎉Excited to have a chapter in this new edited volume out this week! Inspired by #urban work with @stsay almost a decade ago "Small Enough to Act, Big Enough to Matter: Subnational #Arctic #climatechange actors" examines how #cities cooperate across borders for #ClimateAction 🌎

I always learn right alongside you! Sharing this so more people get to know about your amazing leadership in climate action.
A1: After college I worked as a #climatechange Junior Fellow @CarnegieEndow, where I met my role model & first woman mentor @stsay. Shin-pei taught me that it was not only okay to think outside-of-the-box, but that was where the best work existed. #WomenTalkSTEM #WHM

I fell in love with cities by riding their busses from end to end, getting a chance to see people and know neighborhoods up close. So glad busses are getting the attention they deserve.
Congrats to @shigashide @TransitCenter @BethOsborneT4A & @T4America for being highlighted in this important editorial on why we need busses. Everywhere. nytimes.com/2021/03/18/opini…

Thanks to everyone who reached out today with their love and support. ❤️ Love is love, hate is hate. The recent violence against Asians remind me to stand united with all BIPOC. Here's one way those threads come together in my life: openspace.sfmoma.org/2021/02…

At its best placemaking feminizes #cities & the process of shaping them. #Placemaking should not only make #publicspace safe for #women & girls but enable places where women feel welcome, supported, & joyful. #InternationalWomensDay #safercities #IWD2021
