After 10 years, I'm headed back to an Quest Oracle Community #Oracle#JDEdwards conference #INFOCUS2025! Come say 'hi' at the booth or hit me up between sessions. I'm not presenting, but I'll be attending as many CNC & AI related sessions as possible.

VS Code and Postman are no longer adjacent tools.
They've evolved into fully integrated solutions.
Postman released the Postman VS Code extension to GA six months ago.
And since then, it's been getting upgraded with a whole bunch of new features.
You can now develop and test your APIs without ever needing to leave your code editor.
And all of your favourite Postman features are available.
Found this helpful? Postman just released their December Drop, which shares other must-know features released this year. It's a great quick read.

More languages, more insights!
A few interesting takeaways:
* Java and Kotlin are quick! Possible explanation: Google is heavily invested in performance here.
* Js is really fast as far as interpreted / jit languages go.
* Python is quite slow without things like PyPy.
Check this out... "Everyone wants to be strong. Nobody wants to be sore."
I like it but, that second sentence feels like defeat. "Nobody wants to be sore." If nobody wants it, then why should I?
I changed it...
"Everyone wants to be strong. Few are willing to be sore."
I've been working with @itglue on an issue with their API. The support tech (Bart) has been great to work with. He is knowledgeable and very helpful. We never did find the cause, but he provided me with an acceptable workaround.
Overall... a great support experience!
