It’s out. Go play with it. There’s nothing else like this - not even close. A completely new way to build, skipping traditional design tools entirely. Once we add full AI agent support, it’s game over. The future of design tools is code-based.
Complete Design Systems solution for shadcn/ui is out! Modeled after the DTCG standard, translated into shadcn/ui Tailwind CSS • Base Tokens • Component Tokens • Custom token names • Any Tailwind-supported properties • Import from Figma • Distributed with shadcn/ui CLI
Community note
shadcn.run is a third-party tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by official shadcn/ui. ui.shadcn.com

Nothing special — just a 75 GB cache from a single Turborepo Next.js monorepo. And I wouldn't even call this app particularly large or complex. The cost of building software in 2026 is insane. That's before you factor in other hardware and AI costs.

The best way to test your UI is to zoom the hell out of it. If it doesn’t fall apart and still looks good, you’re probably doing something right.

Seems like @vercel will close your account without notice - and without sending a single email - if they don't like you 🤡 This is low, even by Vercel standards, @rauchg

VoidZero is joining Cloudflare. Our mission stays the same: to make JavaScript developers more productive than ever before. Vite, Vitest, Rolldown, Oxc, and Vite remain MIT-licensed. Evan and the VoidZero team will continue leading them. Cloudflare shares our commitment to open source. Together, we can keep investing in the tooling developers rely on every day, while bringing the Vite ecosystem and Cloudflare’s platform even closer together.

New @Lovable projects now ship on TanStack Start. That means full-stack React with SSR/SSG/CSR per route, server functions colocated with components, deploy-anywhere architecture, and type safety that helps both humans and AI generate better apps. 1/2 lovable.dev/blog/building-ap…

Is it just me, or is @vercel Geist heavily inspired by IBM Plex? Some letterforms are almost an exact match. And there’s no mention of it anywhere - not even in the "Inspiration" section @evilrabbit_

How font design works at @vercel: Take an open-source font. Mess up the kerning, x-height and baseline. Ship it.
do you really want me to explain how font design work? poor man, you don’t have a life.

🇺🇸 🇮🇱 🇦🇷 Enjoyed my discussion with PM Netanyahu on how AI education and literacy will keep our free societies ahead. We spoke about AI empowering everyone to build software and the importance of ensuring it serves quality and progress. Optimistic for peace, safety, and greatness for Israel and its neighbors.

nobody in my family has ever left kazakhstan. i just flew half the globe to SF. a week ago, i was in my village of 2,000 people with 3mb/s internet. a year ago, i didn't even know what a SAFE note was. today, i'm 17, standing in sf with $300k raised from top investors to build my startup. now please, go tell someone else that staying delusional is stupid.

Ditch Next.js. Now
Huge win of support for @tannerlinsley and the entire Tanstack ecosystem. Tanner is one of the few people I know who watches npm download charts even more closely than I do, so I know he's got to be feeling good about this rn. Well deserved!
