I've been to dozens of concerts in my life, most of which I loved, but I was ALWAYS ready to be done by the time 90 minutes in. My first concert was The Scorpions and Def Leppard, but it was 3 hours long!
That was until last year, when I started wearing AirPods in noise-cancellation mode. Stayed for the encores and loved it. I was surprised they could generate strong enough inverted audio waves to challenge concert levels, but even if they're just serving in a passive role, it's enough.
For me, even when you know and like the music, concert audio levels and visuals add up pretty quickly. The AirPods can double that endurance by shaving 20 dB off!
