This is Ali Moussa Dakdouk, a senior Hezbollah commander.
- He is personally responsible for a terror attack in 2007 targeting U.S. troops.
- He was imprisoned by the U.S. and had a bounty of $5M on his head.
- He also managed the “Golan Portfolio” - Hezbollah’s plan to invade and take over northern Israel.
Dakdouk was eliminated by the IDF as he led the fighting for Hezbollah in south Lebanon. He will no longer terrorise U.S. troops, nor the peoples of Israel and Lebanon.

President Trump needs to remember his campaign promise to the American people of "PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH".
Allowing the IRGC to continuously violate the ceasefire agreement, even through it's proxy forces, AND to terrorize the Strait of Hormuz is perceived as weakness.
The IRGC will not negotiate in good faith and will continue to break the ceasefire.
If he wants an actual deal in which Iran gives up it's HEU, we must send a message that these actions will not be tolerated now or in the future.
It's time to remind them why our military budget is 3x of Iran's GDP.

According to President Trump's new standard, if al-Qaeda or Iran were to target Washington with "only" a few drones or missiles, and nobody was killed or injured, America should stand down and sign a deal with the aggressor. That approach will not bring peace to the region, including Lebanon and Israel. It risks teaching every side the same lesson: rearm, regroup, and prepare for the next round. A pause is not peace if everyone is simply loading more weapons for tomorrow.

This is not excessive.
This is a precision strike targeting those responsible for attacking a sovereign nation.
Negotiating with radical Islamist organizations while allowing them to break the ceasefire, and then condemning our ally, shows weakness.
We must respond and show unity if we expect any reasonable deal. If we don’t, there will be follow on attacks on US forces and Iran will continue to terrorize the Strait of Hormuz.
The IDF publishes footage of its airstrike on a Hezbollah headquarters in Beirut a short while ago.
The military says the site was used by Hezbollah to advance attacks on Israeli civilians and IDF troops operating in southern Lebanon.
"The strike was carried out after earlier today, the Hezbollah terror organization launched aerial targets toward the territory of the State of Israel," the IDF says, referring to three drones that exploded in military zones in northern Israel.

The clip circulating today of JD Vance is from an interview discussing Russia and Ukraine. It conducted on 08/24/2025.
The next lines from JD were:
"We're actually not active parties in the negotiation. We're effectively mediating. We're trying to mediate Ukrainians and the Russians to come to some agreement. If Ukrainians are willing to say something on territory that brings the conflict to the close, we're not going to stop them. We're also not going to force them because it's not our country."

WW2 didn't end with a negotiated settlement. Germany and Japan surrendered unconditionally.
