I’ve been working in the Senate to support Muni & Bay Area transit generally. We obtained emergency funds last year, staving off service cuts. We’re now working toward long-term sustainable funding.
Lots of work ahead, but this progress bodes well for the future of SF transit.

Muni is making strong progress to adapt to a post-pandemic world.
New data show customer satisfaction among Muni riders is the highest in 20 yrs. 72% of Muni riders rate service “good” or “excellent,” the highest rating the system has received since surveys began in 2001.🧵
