YO..... We are storming on with our gambling licence progress. Our formal tax advice has come through and is positive news. Once the company has moved its concerns to alderney we will be liable for 0% income tax. Whilst this makes sense from a buisness point of view, it is also equally important for giving back to the token holders. We see this as a HUGE win for waterway labs and more Importantly jeffbets. It shows the lengths we are going to, in order to do this in the right way, and for the benefit of all the token holders. We now wait on the crypto requirements. Ok, so I've been in the world of icp for a while now. I'm sure it's fairly common knowledge I'm involved with waterway labs. But my comments are more about legitimate businesses that choose to use icp. Why would they? Well from my understanding it's all about the ability to fully decentralise and run a company for the benefits of the buisness and token holders alike. Perfect.... But.... From my experience it's been an uphill struggle, we have tried nothing but to do it in the right way, we've employed people and paid them for there time (as they should be). We have pushed on with our pursuit to obtain a gambling license, and this is all because we want to do this properly, from day one, NO BULLSHIT. We've been honest about EVERYTHING, and from my experiences so far, personally (that's me alone) have seen zero support for openfpl or icfc from anyone at dfinity. Not even a retweet or a well done for pushing it. Why would anyone choose this path???? But here we are still trying..... This just my opinion, take it or leave it. I know what happens behind the scenes, from early starts to 2 am WhatsApp chats... For those that care. Thanks..
