I've written 11k words of my new thriller now and this is the stage where I'm in love with it. I will hate it by 30k words. I will tell myself it will be fine by 60k words. And by 85k I will think it's amazing...until it goes to my agent/on sub...then I will think it's shit again

Don’t overthink it! All the anxiety, imposter syndrome, writing for the market – it all gets in the way of the actual writing. I only got my deal once I let all that go and wrote something I thought I would enjoy, and I’ve been having fun with YA thrillers ever since! #ukteenchat
