The Ontario NDP is reiterating our call for greater supports for Palestinian refugees fleeing genocide in Gaza. We are urging Canada to uphold its obligations under international law to take meaningful steps to end the suffering of Palestinian civilians. As the Official Opposition Shadow Minister for Citizenship and Multiculturalism, I have shared our call to action with Premier Ford and PM Carney on behalf of our caucus.

Justin Trudeau failed in the biggest job a Prime Minister has: to work for people, not the powerful.
The NDP will vote to bring this government down, and give Canadians a chance to vote for a government who will work for them.
But he signalled he's not willing to follow Freeland and resign. "I have absolute confidence in the prime minister in terms of what he's asked me to do, and that is to serve as the minister of justice."
So... "I have confidence in me," basically.
Justice Minister Arif Virani was non-committal about Trudeau's future when asked by reporters Thursday at a press conference on another matter.
"In respect to what's been transpiring over the last few days in Ottawa, it's ultimately ... decisions will be taken by parties that are involved," he said.
DECISIONS WILL BE TAKEN.
BY PARTIES THAT ARE INVOLVED.
Trudeau and the Liberals are done.
The choice is now a progressive government led by the NDP, or a regressive one led by Conservatives.
It’s time to ditch the Liberal chaos and make life easier.
Taiaiako’n—Parkdale—High Park meet your NDP candidate!
