Legit fell asleep in an all team meeting. Woken up when my boss asked me a direct question. I have such a history of giving my boss shit publicly that people thought I was just being a jackass to him.

I know people have legit reasons for wanting Feinstein to step down, and a small group of people have been saying it for a long time… but the absolute deluge of attention to it this week feels manipulated somehow. Might still be right, but something feels fishy.

Still employed. But if you are wondering if you should reach out to someone who was laid off or otherwise effected, err on the side of reaching out. Having been laid off in the past, I can state with certainty - people will remember your kindness and need it.
