Too many children have been struck and killed by cars speeding through our streets.
I fought to include Sammy’s Law in the budget and was proud to sign it into law so that New York City can lower their speed limits, combat preventable crashes, and save lives.

For the first time the MTA has reliable city level data showing the average speed of traffic - and it is the slowest ever over the past 12 months in history. Congestion pricing needs to become a reality.

It's back!
We're launching Automated Enforcement Cameras on 14 bus routes across the city, in partnership with @NYC_DOT! 📸
These cameras will automatically issue violations to vehicles that obstruct bus lanes and bus stops, as well as double parked vehicles.
These new cameras are now active on the B44-SBS, B46-SBS, Bx12-SBS, Bx19, B62, Bx41-SBS, Bx36, M14-SBS, M15-SBS, M23-SBS, M34-SBS, Q44-SBS, Q54, and Q58 routes.
