🚨 Serco - the government contractor that runs large parts of Britian's immigration and justice operation - has taken the extraordinary position of saying it would oppose Reform's plan to deport illegal migrants from Britain. Having read the Telegraph's report making this claim, I have written to Serco's CEO asking him to urgently clarify their position. Serco is the firm the Home Office uses to deposit unvetted men from Syria, Afghanistan, Iran and Iraq into British housing estates without the knowledge nor consent of local residents. Serco is the firm that launches huge bids for rental homes, outbidding local residents by such a vast amount that lifelong residents - including veterans - have been served eviction notices by landlords. All to house illegal migrants. Serco has expressed no moral concern about any of this. Yet they apparently take exception to our plan to actually uphold immigration law and remove those who break it. Moreover, if the Telegraph's reporting is correct, a company so enmeshed in the British state it even runs recruitment for British Armed Forces, says it will take a hostile position to a duly elected Reform government. If the Telegraph’s reporting is correct, the only reasonable interpretation of Serco’s position is that it now believes itself to be an alternative power base to the duly elected government of the United Kingdom, and is willing to act contrary to the interests of the British electorate. If this were true, a Reform government would be left with no choice but to view Serco as a threat to national security.  I have given Serco until 6pm to clarify their position. Should they fail to do so, we will take the following steps to decouple the British Government from Serco: 1) On forming a Government, we will initiate an accelerated review of all Government contracting with Serco with the aim of removing Serco as a public contractor within our first Parliamentary term. 2) Where Serco has breached contracts or break clauses are available, we will terminate those contracts and continue to exercise break clauses as they come due.  My full letter below 👇

UK GOVERNMENT SACKED ITS OWN BORDER WATCHDOG David Neal was the man the government hired to inspect UK borders and make sure they actually worked. He did exactly that. What he found was not good. He wrote it all up in official reports. The Home Office locked those reports in a drawer. When he finally went to a newspaper to warn the public that private planes were landing in the UK with almost nobody checking who was on them, the Home Secretary James Cleverly @JamesCleverly fired him. Here is what Neal actually found. At London City Airport, only 21% of flights flagged as high risk were checked by immigration officers. Not some of the time. As a yearly average. He said it was a scandal and dangerous for the country. The Home Office said he had the numbers wrong. Then they fired him. At the moment he was sacked, the @HomeOffice was holding back 15 of his finished inspection reports. Some had been sitting there for 18 months without being shown to the public. The agreed deadline for publishing them was eight weeks. Not one report met that deadline across his entire three years in the job. When they finally released 13 of the reports, they chose to do it on the same afternoon that a separate major inquiry published its findings... Draw your own conclusions. What was actually in those reports? Border control posts left with nobody manning them. Officers at e-passport gates described as distracted and without basic radios. The whole airport border operation rated as neither effective nor efficient. Neal told MPs directly: I have been sacked for doing my job. He also told @BBC the Home Office is dysfunctional and described senior officials rolling their eyes when he brought them his findings. He said the government contacted him three separate times warning him not to speak publicly about the unpublished reports. He had almost no other way to get the information out. The people who fired him for raising border security concerns were the same people who spent years promising the public they had taken back control of the borders. This morning in Parliament, I was accosted by Lib Dem MP Angus MacDonald, who accused me and others of inciting violence. His aggressive approach and tone left me feeling threatened and shaken. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable, especially from fellow MPs. We all have different views and should be able to disagree respectfully. The Lib Dems support open borders, while Reform UK supports controlled immigration and putting the British people first.
