It's an auction wherein the highest bidder (who actually pays their bill) reflects the fair value, before anyone who ultimately defaults enters that auction. The only other way to find the fair value is from AccurateAppraisals.com but appraised FMV does not matter in an auction environment. The other 20 bidders chose to back out on their own accord so it's too late for them. Opinion of FMV only matters if its buy it now, or negotiated, not an auction. Rick was in fact the high bidder prior to the fraud entering the auction, irrelevant if the person won and paid in other auctions. No logic in re-running the auction. Not fair to the actual winner, Rick, at the price before the nonpayer entered. Nothing else is fair or rational.
