What's in a name? Why did a federal judge order that the "Trump-Kennedy Center" revert to simply being the "Kennedy Center"? I joined Wake Up America Weekend on @newsmax to discuss.

Where can the federal government prosecute you when you're accused of committing a crime? In other words, what's the appropriate venue? I explain how the Supreme Court answered that question in its recent opinion in Abouammo v. United States.

An update here, on the 11th Circuit's chief judge opening a new inquiry into whether Judge Eleanor Ross's apology letter complied with the earlier order. The two-page letter from Chief Judge Pryor is attached below:
Replying to @NickAtNews
The judges who reprimanded Judge Ross said her apology letters should be "sufficiently specific" to make clear the sexual misconduct for which she is apologizing. Here's the letter, obtained by the @nytimes, that she wrote to the six clerks More: nytimes.com/2026/06/11/us/el…

🔥Hot off the presses: @TheJusticeDept issued an opinion today explaining that disparate-impact liability under federal employment law is *unconstitutional*. This is an earthquake in federal civil rights law. If right, this is the foundation to overturn that pernicious regime.

If federal judges can feel shame, the three-judge panel the Court reversed should be embarrassed. You can hate Callais, you can think it's wrongly decided, but if you're a lower court judge, you have to follow it. Anything else is a threat to the constitutional order. And this is a bipartisan problem. The two district judges on the panel were Trump appointees. The Eleventh Circuit judges, Clinton. But they put a lot of effort into a case that lasted for years, they became married to their view, and even when the Supreme Court said they were wrong, they refused to change course. So they got flipped with the opinion calling out their hubris. The constitutional order is more important than a district court judge's pride. Hopefully, that message is now clear.
🚨HUGE NEWS! Supreme Court allows Alabama to use its preferred Congressional map in upcoming midterm election. In a short 6-3 per curiam opinion, the Justices stay a lower court order that essentially ignored the Court’s Callais ruling.
