Union Catholic NJ star Paige Sheppard announced on Instagram she has verbally committed to Stanford.
The eight-time #NBNationals champion is bringing lifetime bests of 2:01.50 (800m), 4:33.67 (Mile) and 16:44.3 (XC 5k) to Palo Alto in the fall of 2027.

Stronger together 🤝
In just two years, Union Catholic NJ has broken national records in five relay events, including Friday night’s 800m sprint medley relay in 3:47.35 at the Arcadia Invitational.
And on all five of those relay teams, Paige Sheppard has been a part of each of them.
While each relay race is different, the mentality remains the same for Sheppard: team first.

Another one for the case 🥇
@uctrack star Paige Sheppard made light work of the #NBNI Championship 800m field, winning by nearly two seconds in 2:04.25.
Sheppard ran the 1200m leg for UC’s national record-setting DMR last night and will look to defend her title in the mile from #NBNO tomorrow.

The MOST perfect Union 🏆
@uctrack picks up their second national record of the weekend, as the girl’s DMR follows up last night’s boys 4x800m with a high school of 11:06.13 to take the win at #NBNI.
UC won by 3️⃣6️⃣ seconds and took six seconds off their absolute high school record, set just last year at #NBNO.
