my upcoming placement season does not sit right with my gut. I have no preparation for it and pls do no expect me to do any good. I am not great at preparing and do all this for mostly fun. fun has been missing for some time and i hope it comes back.

Last 24 hrs have been hectic. Family has kept up rather well but 1.5 lac is no small amount.
The infrastructure of our country is in shambles. Even if we do get this back (btw, 0 access, 0 social engineering, straight up money gone from your bank acc) country has become a joke.

My father was duped of amount Rs 1,34,000 in past three days through UPI fraudulent transactions without any malicious access or report from the phone. @ICICIBank_Care @Cyberdost @NPCI_NPCI @UPI_NPCI
No transaction or even PIN entered from our end.

1- AI-generated code just creates more technical debt.
2- At the end of the day, you (the developer) are responsible for the code, not the LLM that generated it. So the less code you have, the easier it is for you to own it.
3- A good engineer knows what code to write, and equally importantly, what code not to write or to delete.
(BTW, this is what we old-school software engineers have been saying for a long time, and we've been called all sorts of names for it.)
