At the 114th Session of the International Labour Conference, Hon. Minister @CNkulikiyinka presented Rwanda's perspective on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in shaping the future of work. She emphasized the importance of harnessing emerging technologies to boost productivity, spur economic growth, support skills development, and improve service delivery while proactively addressing associated risks and challenges. The Minister outlined Rwanda's human centered digital transformation agenda, highlighting the National Artificial Intelligence Policy, the recent establishment of the National Al Agency, and ongoing investments in digital infrastructure, innovation, and workforce development. She cited key initiatives including the Digital Ambassadors Programme, Al capacity building for public servants, and training for employers' and workers’ organizations to equip citizens and labour market actors with digital and Al skills. Hon. Minister @CNkulikiyinka affirmed Rwanda's conviction that, with strong governance, inclusive skills development, and international cooperation, Al can advance decent work, entrepreneurship, job creation, and sustainable development.
