I get it, everyone wants to ride the AI wave. But I strongly believe the chat interface is not the default for all types of products.
In some verticals, it fits in naturally, like Travel, Advisory, Analytics or any use case where exploration/recommendations are a primary use case.
However, I was taken aback when I logged in to our @Razorpay dashboard yesterday, and they defaulted it to the screen shown below (have changed real data to dummy one for obvious reasons).
I am not sure what purpose it serves to give this interface a priority.
There are more intelligent ways how AI can be woven in. For example, I would be interested in whether AI can give me recommendations on what payment type or offer we can prioritize based on historical transactions.
