#USA #DEFENSE #ITAR #EUROPE Unfortunately, unlike their civilian-tech counterparts, defense startup founders from #Europe and #Ukraine no longer treat the United States as the default global platform for building their companies. If this trend holds, the U.S. risks losing its leadership in defense innovation - and its position in the markets of the future. cepa.org/article/why-defense…

#ai #tax Never expected this from myself, an AI Entrepreneur, but I’m in favor of taxing AI companies to redistribute wealth to those left without work. Otherwise, society’s wealth will be destroyed by social turbulence. No society can handle 20% unemployment.

#Drones #Autonomy #Navigation 3D Mapping coupled with Visual Navigation are critical elements for #autonomousnavigation. The "democratization" of #jamming and #spoofing tools makes remote-controlled drones and UGVs obsolete for logistics, homeland security, dual use, etc. Ukraine and Iran prove that :( Sharing the first video of the 3D Navigation and Map Crowdsourcing system we are building @A19Lab, which will be crucial for future drone and UGV systems in 1-2 years. #drones #robots #vizualnavigation #contestedlogistic #autonomy #slam #3dmapping

Looking at everything happening in the world, I’m more and more convinced every day that my decision to move to the U.S. in 2012 was the right long-term choice. The USA is the best country to live in and invest your time and talent in for the long term!

#SaaS startups = investors #SCAM? Unfortunately, many SaaS startups are starting to look like investor scams: they burn investors’ money building source code (a commodity) and buying leads—creating brutal, often unwinnable competition. Some try to pivot by promising a move to OpenClaw, but that’s a mirage. Corporations can already build the same capabilities in-house. I think the only SaaS niche that will remain defensible is one where all users benefit from a shared, continuously updated knowledge base. Everything else will get replaced by locally run LLM copies, using open-source analogs as a verified “reference design.”

This weekend I went back to my engineering hacker roots 🙂 Spent it with OpenClaw, Antigravity by Google, etc. Felt like I was 16–20 again 😄 …but with Coke Zero vibes 😅 Main takeaway: If you have no plan to cut 80% of software engineering, management, and ops work through automation, you’re probably listening to outdated tech advisors. Feels like the only real long-term limit to replacing humans with AI from workflows is how much complexity the human brain can hold.

My Essay @SCBrain : How #AI #Negotiations Brings Us Closer to a Perfect Market? In the last 3 years, I’ve been applying AI to core economic processes - #Negotiations. My main takeaway: AI Negotiations are replacing humans in the loop, shrinking information asymmetry, and disrupting major related processes - pushing markets closer to a “perfect” market faster than most expect. I recently shared these thoughts with the SupplyChainBrain Think Tank, along with a few related disruptions I expect we’ll see next. You can find the reference in the first comment. P.S. I hope my economics professor will be proud of this essay 😄

4 Years of Noncompete :) Yesterday was the last day of my noncompete covering #robotics and #drone #autonomous navigation with Qualcomm , after selling @AugmentedPixels in 2022 :)) It was a great, life-changing deal—thank you, Qualcomm ! At the time I sold the company, I thought that in 2–3 years we’d see a lot of cool products in autonomy. But to my surprise… no. Most “autonomous navigation” companies are just paper tigers with great marketing :( So… I have a plan for @a19labcom :) My inner kid - the one who built wooden RC airplanes and model cars like Geppetto - and the engineer/hacker in me who decoded ICQ protocol in 2001 and created the first messenger(“IM ”) for Nokia phones, can’t wait ;) And I’ll execute it in parallel with my new intellectual passion: AI for Negotiations at @12NewAI - where we’re changing fundamentals of the economy globally ;) Stay tuned :))) Ps. I’m always open to collaborating with great people :) dm me!! :))

If you aren’t working right now on a business that seems impossible, there’s a 99% chance you’ll be a loser in 10 years.

#wealthtax France, Brussels, and similar places can prove it: A wealth tax has nothing to do with improving most people’s lives—it’s a populist talking point politicians use to get elected. To prevent it, it’s much more effective to improve people’s lives and educate voters, not argue with politicians on X
