The post isn't about Fable 5. Not even about Anthropic. It's about enterprises. About developers. About users. You and I. Every organisation, Every enterprise, Every individual, Needs AI sovereignty. Pick your model, Run it your way, Run it privately. Wait, did I just list the use case for @hexoai? Well, I guess I did.

Frankly, "token cost getting out of hand" is shortsighted It's expensive for the devs/ppl building more tech! My accountant and lawyer aren't token maxing (unless they are building tech/hobbyists). Your real estate broker is ok with $20 pro plans too. Like a steel mfr cribbing abt electricity usage in 1970s. What you gonna do? Not use energy to make steel?

Saw few founders outside EF trying to turn so the maps would tell them if they should turn left or right. Me: "tell me where you want to go and I'll point it out" Becoming local is a wonderful thing. Maybe the best of things.

The biggest wrapper-AI product might be @Apple's new Siri on top of @google Gemini. I mean, it's buttery good, but it's a wrapper. Am I wrong?

Just got pitched by someone in their summer between high-school and college. I get so energised just being around them and listening to them! Pathbreaking ideas don't need age, experience, or connections (well, knowing me helps ;) ) This is why SF! LFG!!!!

Demand 'Intros' from your VC: To other funds To design partners To new team members Doesn't matter if they're an angel or a billion $ fund. Every. Single. Investor. Needs. To. Make. Intros. 2 a year or 2 a quarter. Quantity doesn't matter. High quality is the bar.

Every sci-fi arc, @pmarca From Tattoine to Trantor. From Neuromancer to Manna. From Ready Player One to The Matrix.
You will live in the pod, eat the bugs, use the only AI, and live on UBI.

. @AnthropicAI's Fable 5 already feels like my most complementary team member - doesn't ask redundant Qs - pushes back rationally - understands context asap - holy wow! Just gets me! ๐Ÿš€

My case *against* token-rationing: I am appalled by early-stage founders aping Microsoft/Uber's tokenrationing. For a young startup, this is a massive unforced error. The reason startups are nimble is because you can make fast, non-consensus decisions. Big companies cutting off token access across thousands of developers, en masse is the opposite of what a startup should do. They are driven by CFO mandates, stock market expectations, etc. You should be driven by the relentless pursuit of PMF! Instead, re-balance and give even more tokens to your most productive team members. And optimise aggressively for use cases where lower-cost tokens can be used. - Don't use GPT 5.4 to book sales appointments. Your google workspace already includes Gemini. Use that. - Don't use Claude to clean up excel sheets. Gemma 4 2B is qualified for that. Even a $20 Perplexity is good for it. - Don't use Sonnet 4.6 for documentation where Kimi 2.5 is sufficient. I have soo many unused tokens across Granola, X, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and other accounts. None of these are being maxed out. Technically "free" because already paid for in the base subscription. Founders, you have the best magic wand ever - don't take it away from your top team members. Solve for token ROI, not token budget. #ai #startups #fundraising

Coding 'purists' who diss on vibe coders don't understand how difficult it was to code in Assembly before C. Yes we'll have a short time of crappy app proliferation, but the net positive impact will be massive. That's my bet!

Spending Saturday evening at @AGIHouseSF, my brain on overdrive to understand products built on top of @hexoai SIA open source repo was exactly the kind of exciting evening I'd imagined! Thx @JuliusYRitter for having me as a judge! @kunalbhatia91 | @tweetvbaskaran | @Kristopherfloyd

10 years ago, I was an early stage founder, celebrating the simple win of our first order in a new city. It's only got better... I get to celebrate wins of multiple portfolio companies now ๐Ÿค— Celebrate the wins, no matter how small. And remember to thank your team, they make the magic happen! ๐Ÿงต 1/12 June 2027. The biggest AI labs have quietly stopped bragging about parameter counts. Instead, a handful of them are now running the same 20-watt blueprint that evolution already perfected: real biological neurons, simulated at scale, on ordinary GPUs. Sci-fi you think? Itโ€™s already happening. And at Neuropeek @HiSohan just made it practical. We are about to own the layer everything else sits on.

Imagine a Purkinje cell firing. Not as a dot on a graph. As a tree of light, branches illuminating from trunk to tip in 0.3 milliseconds. Now imagine five different neuron types doing this simultaneously, talking to each other through synapses that pulse when they transmit. That's what your brain just did to picture this.

I experimented last year, and quickly stepped back. The "way back" is when folks realise the negative reputation hit that comes with AI-replies. It's painful, and messy, but keeping it real actually has a massive long term advantage to shaping our online persona. The above tweet is 100% non-AI generated, I swear ๐Ÿ˜‰
Donโ€™t ruin your reputation with AI generated replies

Self improving agent that updates ota own weights! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ
Superintelligence will be built on Self Improvement. Today @hexoai, weโ€™re excited to release โ€˜SIAโ€™ - an open-source Self-Improving AI, to achieve any goal through recursive self improvement. While trying to solve a problem, SIA doesn't just improve it's abilities by updating it's harness, it updates it's own weights as well.
