Dear @urbansportsclub. How is it possible that your app and website (or art they the same) are still so broken? After years! I search for 'tango' in activities for today and I see one class. One! Yet I know of 7 other classes in USC venues not even listed. Wtf? When will U GYST?!

I believed @montypython was not active any more. But here I am, standing corrected. Members of the group, previously retired from the Ministry of Fatuous Flag Affairs, evidently have infiltrated the Oxford City Council: t.ly/bI4Zv

Remember Kafka's "The Trial"? Automatic systems get us closer to this all of the time. Booked a @vueling flight to BCN via @PayPal weeks ago. Added a cabin bag (20€) during online check in today with CC. Four minutes later PayPal sends me an email that Vueling has refunded me!

Of course, the original booking was 127€ return. Plus 20€ cabin bag one way. 150€ give or take. @vueling cancelled the booking three hours before departure, so now the same flights cost me 320€ with cabin bag. Add the non-refunded cabin bag from before and I paid 213€ more.

Because an automated system @Vueling's own employees do not grok decided so. Probably it uses craptacular ML of some sort and costs a ton of money. The best part though is that now I'm on the same flight. Apparently I'm not a security risk if I pay almost triple for the pleasure.

To all my VFX followers who use Darktable: consider switching to the fork, Ansel (ansel.photos/). It has a fully scene-referred workflow and santitized (or rather: sane-itized) UI/UX. #darktable #ansel #RAW #photography

I love @Fly_Norwegian. I accidentally booked a way too early return flight from Oslo. Me, realizing the mistake a split second after cofirming the form: swearing. This will cost me! I go to change the booking and my eyes almost popped out: 0.0€ to change to the later flight!

Dear @urbansportsclub please fix your search. It is terrible – again! I can not search for the actual type of sport (tango) and I can not even search for a venue name I know (e.g Tango Libre). I can only find an offer if I search for ‘dance’ and then go through the whole list.

I'm just at one of Berlin's best falafel places, Alin Gaza Kitchen, and wanted to correct their category on @googlemaps. Turns out, the category “Palestinian Restaurant” does not exist. Every other country name I tried coupled w. the term ‘restaurant’ was there. Coincidence?

Croatia switched their currency to Euro on January the 1st 2023. Almost half a year later, on Croatian statehood day no less, @googlemaps is still displaying all prices in Croatian Kuna including "how much did you spend per person?" when adding a review.

Liebe @BVG.

My @bumble profile says I'm in an ENM relationship and my tags that I look for Something Casual. Yet you present me with 80% potential matches (100% of Best Bees!) who are looking for a Relationship. Is that ineptitude of your R&D or intention to get me to pay for your service?

Adding a quote (") to the end of a @Meetup URL makes the website hang forever and never open the meeting page. Happens e.g. when @mozthunderbird message display is forced to 'plain text' and an URL from a Meetup mail is clicked (i.e. Thunderbird bug Meetup problem).
If you believe #stablecoins are stable you may also believe French toast is French.
Dear @bumble, please review your German app translation. "Something casual" does not translate to "Etwas Unverbindliches" ("something non-comittal"). "Etwas Lockeres" oder "Etwas Zwangloses" are translations that capture the meaning appropriately.

I’d love to buy the “Rust for Rustaceans” ebook directly from @nostarch instead of amazon.de. But it's more than 20% cheaper on the latter. I’d like to understand how this is even possible even given how much Amazon pockets for listing a title.
