Wow, this space, this space was a lot, really.
It lasted for almost 3 hours and 15 minutes, and I just love spaces. I genuinely love spaces, and this one was very, very, very wonderful.
A lot of people came through. The conversations were amazing, the insights were practical, and the engagement was incredible. I honestly cannot begin to explain how much I appreciate everyone who took time out of their day to join us.
I'm doing this recap with my whole heart because I truly want people on the timeline to learn from it. Even if there is just one thing you can take away from this recap and implement immediately, please do.
I'm sharing this as raw and undiluted as possible.
THE WINNER'S MINDSET: WHY SOME PEOPLE WIN AND WHY SOME PEOPLE QUIT (Newbie Series โ Episode 5)
@babs_josh12399: One thing that changed for me was the realization that the friends I was moving with didn't really have long-term vision and goals. They just wanted to buy the latest phones and cars.
I spoke with my mentor, and he told me I had to change my environment and change my perception.
I decided to start building my writing journey. I started asking questions from someone in crypto, and she started teaching me the basics of writing.
I continued learning and improving, and I was able to combine writing with my community management role, and I was able to secure a job from the execution of it.
I noticed that many people are trapped in their comfort zones and never actually grow.
The first thing that happened to me was realization, and then the unsettled feeling of not wanting to settle in my comfort zone.
@Panchabets: Winning is not about winning everything.
It is about arriving at clarity and taking practical steps that help make a turnaround.
You have to understand when things are not working, and you should be willing to try a new strategy.
Be honest and assess yourself.
Do not forget the reason why you started, and always return to it whenever your vision becomes clouded.
@D_Honoured_I The consistency of losses will make people frustrated and want to quit.
It pays to be early.
The people that were early to NFTs, SHIBA, Solana, and similar opportunities benefited from positioning themselves early.
Consistency plays a major role, but it must be in the right direction.
Most of the time, people should learn how to diversify.
You have to keep connecting with people who are winning because information often exists within winning circles.
You have to pick different valuable skills.
I agree with the idea that success comes from both skills and networking.
@Thenameisdegen Our parents tried to bring us to the level that we are today.
We are now the ones responsible for giving our future children a better future.
If I enter any space and all they are doing is hyping themselves, I leave.
I love spaces where people are sharing their experiences because experience is one of the best teachers.
Another important thing is your network.
Your network can elevate you forward in your journey in this space.
I love joining spaces.
Most of my wins came from spaces, hosting, AMAs, and connecting with valuable people in this space who taught me and literally changed my life.
@Call_Me_DeLa One of the biggest prayers for everyone is to make profit.
When people make profit, it encourages them to continue even through difficult situations.
Ignoring important things is another reason people do not win in this space.
@Brunopeter9444 Investing is one of the biggest things that keeps winners going.
There are different opportunities in the real world to make money, even when Web3 is not paying.
@0xphillo What makes a winner and a quitter is the winner mindset.
Most times, the winner faces a lot more challenges than the person that quits.
