AlhamduliLlah, I graduated from the University of Lagos today. After six long years studying a four-year course. (Slight dig at ASUU here lol) .My journey here was epic. The University of Lagos was where I rediscovered myself, and it set me on the path where, by Allah's grace, I know only greatness lies at the end. It was Unilag that Cardano found me after years of toiling in the Blockchain space. This single event led to some of the wildest and greatest transformations of my life. Amongst which was me becoming one of the delegates at the Cardano Constitutional Convention, in Kenya & Argentina in December 2024, and me being bootstrapped as one of the first committee members at. @IntersectMBO Growth & Marketing Committee amongst others. Without @UnilagNigeria, all these — most likely — would not have been possible. Thank you very much for everything. Bi idhniLlah, I am excited to see what lies ahead. I will do my best to continue living up to the legacy in deed and in truth.

I want to introduce you to Steve. He’s 83. His wife died a few months ago and he comes to this lodge in Spring Mill, Indiana and draws. He taught art in Terre Haute, IN his whole life. He also did courtroom sketches in court cases. In the comments I’ll share some pics from his sketchbook. He was excited when I said I was going to share his sketches with the world.

When it’s a Muslim committing a crime they tag the headline “Islamist terrorist” however when a Muslim does a honourable thing, somehow the fact that he was a Muslim will be omitted in the report. Double standards.

Somalia issued diplomatic passports to South African freedom fighters and ANC members during their struggle against apartheid. So what exactly is controversial about Somalia issuing a diplomatic passport to one of its own talented citizens ? The Somali Minister of Youth will probably never respond to this, which is exactly why ordinary Somalis must defend the reputation of their country on every front. If we don't speak up for Somalia, nobody else will.
South Africa’s Sports Minister Gayton McKenzie has reacted strongly to reports involving referee Omar Artan and claims about a diplomatic passport. He told Robert Marawa: “The information we got is that this ref (Omar Artan) travelled on a diplomatic passport. He’s not a diplomat. Let’s start there. Even if I am the President, I’ll not allow him in the country. What is this ref doing with a diplomatic passport? Is he a politician?” 𝐖𝐎𝐖!

🚨 Jürgen Klopp has launched a scathing attack on the cooling breaks being used during this World Cup. 👊 "Football is being held hostage by executives sitting in air-conditioned offices. These breaks are being presented as a shield for player welfare, a noble weapon against the heat. In reality, they are nothing more than a golden cage built for sponsors. When I saw players standing around during cooling breaks while television timeouts dictated the rhythm of the match, I couldn't help but ask myself: who is the World Cup really serving? The supporters? The players? Or the advertisers? A World Cup match should flow like a river. Instead, we are building dams in the middle of it so commercials can be shown. It's dangerous for the spirit of the game. Football used to be the main event, but it now risks becoming background music for an advertising show." He didn't hold back. 👏👏

Hundreds of thousands of South Africans live and work in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the US and across Europe. Thousands more live and work across Africa, including Ghana, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Nigeria, Kenya and Mozambique. They leave for better opportunities, safer communities and a higher quality of life. Nobody asks them why they didn’t stay and fix South Africa first. So your questions are foolish. People move because they believe they can build a better life elsewhere. South Africans do it. Ghanaians do it. Americans do it. Brits do it. Nigerians do it. Everyone does it. Wanting immigration laws enforced is a legitimate call but chasing people through the streets and beating them up because they’re foreigners is animalistic. No human being with a working brain will do that. So, are you a human being with a working brain?

With all that you’ve said: 1. Why are so many migrants still heading to 🇿🇦? 2. Why are so many migrants upset to be told to go home from 🇿🇦? 3. Why are so many migrants fight 🇿🇦 to stay in 🇿🇦? I truly don’t get it… I’m not deleting my account, I’ll wait for your response

Can the Igbos allow 100% non-indigenes to contest political positions in the South-East?Let's start from there.
You Can’t Stop Igbos From Contesting for Governorship in Lagos — Prof. Sam Amadi Insists Former chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), Prof. Sam Amadi, has insisted that Nigerians should be free to seek political office anywhere in the country, regardless of their ethnic background, stressing that Igbos have the right to contest for the highest positions in Lagos. Speaking on issues of citizenship, integration and national unity, Amadi warned against treating any ethnic group as second-class citizens in Nigeria. “You cannot tell Igbos that they should not vie for the biggest office in Lagos because they are not Yoruba people. That’s an error,” he said. According to him, the principle of common citizenship means every Nigerian enjoys equal rights across the country. “The idea of common citizenship is that we are all citizens of Nigeria. We can’t be less citizen in Sokoto,” he stated. Amadi, however, distinguished between cultural rights and legal rights, arguing that while non-indigenes may not lay claim to traditional institutions in their host communities, they retain full political and civic rights. “An Igbo man who has built his business, who says ‘I want to represent Apapa,’ has a right. And the people have a right to choose him or not,” he said. He urged young Igbos not to live in fear of backlash while pursuing legitimate opportunities and political aspirations. “We should be wise, respectful and tolerant, but we must be assertive. We must be clear that we are part of Nigeria,” Amadi said, adding that national integration cannot succeed if citizens are discouraged from feeling a sense of belonging outside their ethnic homelands. The former NERC boss also lamented what he described as growing perceptions of ethnic discrimination among young Nigerians, saying many feel opportunities are determined by tribe rather than merit.
