Big milestone. Kudos and congrats to the whole Zoox team!
Last week, the @CA_DMV granted our permit to operate our robotaxi autonomously on public roads. This weekend, we hit the road! It marked the first time in history that a purpose-built robotaxi—with no manual controls—drove autonomously on open public roads with passengers. It was a huge milestone for Zoox and the AV industry.

Providing AVs with the most comprehensive understanding of their environment is imperative for safe autonomous driving. That's why, at @Zoox, we rely on a multi-modal sensor architecture. Kudos to our Perception team for the incredible progress they've made in this space. 💚
Just like human drivers, autonomous vehicles need to be able to see their surroundings to drive safely. Humans rely on our two eyes; Zoox uses a sophisticated combination of sensors.

Why is CA dismantling the way non-rich public school kids can excel?
By dismantling advanced math, social mobility will go down. Rather than lifting all children up, the only kids who will be able to rise will be private school kids.
This is wrong and must be stopped.
