Decentralized, permissionless, uncensored AI running on crypto plumbing is probably the most important battle arena of the next five years. Actions like today’s are eye openers for many, but we knew. We knew governaments, technocrats, big companies where hoarding compute, talent, resources. A more and more centralized and dystopian future where social divide is even more prominent. Where access to frontier models is stonewalled. It gives crypto once again a mission. A clear flag to carry. The 0 to 1 moment is happening this year. Things will only accelerate going forward.

You can try the app out at geopharma.app. Search by ingredient or product name. Browse pricing and drug info, view trends, or Geo Pharma space info. Its far from perfect, but its alive!! @geoprotocol

Building on Geo has unlocked a tremendous amount for this humble pharmacist. I set out to map sources of open pharmaceutical data to the Geo Pharma space and the utility is already starting to take shape.

A man working as a welder at SpaceX for $28 an hour has just become a millionaire. Juan Hernandez, who came from Mexico, welded rockets for SpaceX at $28 an hour. SpaceX gave him $10,000 in stock when he went full time in 2015, and he bought more with every paycheck for 10 years. $SPCX is now trading at $167, making his shares worth over $1 million.

Participating in an open knowledge graph means we can build on top of each other's work and move knowledge forward together. Here's a quick overview of how editors at @geoprotocol built new content pages across 3 spaces using just the claims generated by our news pipeline. Editors: @cptmoh @PeterPanYes

Fable is showing how much power these labs have in steering the population, and how they’re not afraid to use it. It should be clear how critical it is for us to develop open, transparent knowledge systems so you can know exactly why you’re seeing what you’re seeing.

Knowledge graphs have a human readability problem. An AI can understand 40 unorganized properties on an entity. But a human has no idea where to look. @geoprotocol's property groups bundle info into browsable sections. Readable for humans, zero extra overhead for AI.

Is the same product sold in the US actually the same as the one sold in Canada? Nobody could answer it because the data was never connected. That’s where knowledge graphs shine. @kgrph25509, one of our editors with deep pharma industry experience, explains 👇

The world is becoming multi-polar. US government spending is out of control. These are the real driving forces behind the market cap of crypto. Stablecoins will expand the dollar’s reach. But alternative currencies will compete.

"Misanthropic." I've never seen the AI community so angry at a major new model release. I asked my AI (an agent that @blevlabs made for me) to gather all the backlash. THE BACKLASH AGAINST CLAUDE FABLE 5'S RESTRICTIONS The best analysis of why this matters: @EnoReyes — "It's about who gets to decide, and whether you ever find out when they do. Fable won't fall back to a different model and tell you. It just limits the output through prompt modification, steering vectors, or PEFT. You won't be told when it happens to you." x.com/EnoReyes/status/206451… THE VIRAL TAKE: @0xBalloonLover — "anthropic won't let you use fable for biology, chemistry, ai research, or anything that accelerates human progress. that makes it the perfect tool for developing blockchains" x.com/0xBalloonLover/status/… POWER CONCENTRATION: @ClementDelangue (HuggingFace CEO) — "Concentration of power, capabilities and economic wealth is the biggest risk in AI. We need open science and open-source more than ever!" x.com/ClementDelangue/status… @jeremyphoward (fast.ai) — "Anthropic has chosen the opposite of the safe path: they are allowing themselves, the current top lab, to use their top model for frontier AI research. They've said they'll sabotage others who try." x.com/jeremyphoward/status/2… @gneubig (Graham Neubig, CMU) — "First they came for the model builders... The whole point of AGI/ASI is to cure all diseases. Everything else is just nice to haves. But Anthropic wants to close off that path." x.com/Teknium/status/2064570… THE MECHANISM: @kimmonismus — "When the model is used for frontier LLM development, it apparently does not simply refuse or warn the user. They will care a LOT in the future when AI is integrated into every aspect of [life]." x.com/DanJeffries1/status/20… Full analysis: alignednews.com/ai

Replying to @Scobleizer
The fury is real and what all of us in the open community have been saying for years and yet regular folks don't get it yet because nothing they care about is restricted or taken away for "safety." They will care a LOT in the future when AI is integrated into every aspect of our lives. When it's our interface to the world and knows every intimate detail about us. Right now regular folks are being pysoped into fighting data centers and other nonsense but tomorrow it will be "I can't do this with my computer because the AI stopped me" or "the AI reported me because I said "retard" in a private WhatsApp chat. All of this boils down a religiously zealous push for an AT&T 1950s style monopoly with much worse implications for us all.
