KPMG has pulled its October 2025 report titled "Redefining Excellence in the Age of Agentic AI" after multiple major organisations cited in the report said the claims made about their AI usage were either completely untrue or seriously misleading. The organisations that pushed back include: • UBS — global banking giant • UK's National Health Service (NHS) • Swiss Federal Railways • Transport for London

The Supreme Court decision in Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) v. Alhaji Sule Lamido & Ors, SC/CV/164/2026 brings me to tears. It is a very dangerous decision that will overwhelm the court with political cases. Based on judicial precedent, there was no basis why the matter was justiciable.

But let’s be clear, at the end of the day, nobody deserves more dragging than the President of the country. I just ask that we are objective and honest about it.

Bruh!!! Brazil in 2002 was one of the best things ever.
There's generations of football fans who have never seen an amazing Brazil men's side and I feel so sorry for them.

My manager kept “forgetting” my overtime. Three weeks in a row. Every Friday I’d clock 47 hours. Every Monday my paycheck showed 40. I asked HR. They said: “Talk to your manager first.” I emailed him: “My timecard shows 7 hours OT missing. Can you fix it?” He replied: “System must’ve glitched. If it’s not approved, you didn’t work it.” I didn’t fight him. Because the district manager said: “He’s been here 15 years. He doesn’t make mistakes.” So I started taking a photo of the timeclock every time I clocked out. Next Friday, I clocked out at 6:32 p.m. — 7.5 hours OT for the week. Took a photo. Time, date, my name, all visible. Then went home. Monday morning, paycheck still said 40 hours. I checked the system. My clock-out had been edited to 4:00 p.m. Edit log showed: “Approved by: J. Matthews” at 8:14 a.m. I saved screenshots, emailed them to myself, printed two copies, then asked HR for a meeting. No anger. Just put the folder on the desk. Turns out he’d been shaving hours off anyone who “questioned policy.” I was just the first one who kept receipts. He got written up I got backpay for 22.5 hours. And somehow… I’m the one coworkers avoid in the break room. Apparently, proving you worked is “not being a team player.” But stealing wages? That was just “a misunderstanding.” Funny how evidence turns you into the villain.

Nope. Zakat is calculated on cash or precious metals that's left lying around for a whole year without touching. I don't think has that much money lying around doing nothing that will provide an amount of zakat that'll solve hunger.
If he was a muslim 2.5% Zakat from him would had been solved world hunger crisis

That’s because our own ancestors buried them. You think Fulanis erased our pagan past? 600 years ago, long before a Fulani stepped foot in our lands, Sarki Ali Yaji I waged Jihad against the pagans and broke them. We didn't need anyone to purge the land for us we did it ourselves
I just realised I haven’t heard of any Hausa gods. There’s sango, obatala, amadioha etc

Ben Affleck says The Town’s coldest cop scene came from a real bank robber in prison "for The Town, I went through all the prisons... Massachusetts federal prisons, state prisons, and sat down and talked to guys who robbed trucks and banks" "after talking for two hours, I was like, is anything just fucking weird ever happened? and one guy said, we robbed this truck, we had the mask, we got the switch car" "we pull up, we get out, fucking guns, the masks, whole thing... we look over and this cop's sitting there doing construction duty... he looked at us, we looked at him, he looked the other way... he didn't want to end up on the wall at the VFW" "I was like, I'm putting that in the movie... that's straight from research"

First time the colonial Government in Nigeria granted public holiday for a Muslim celebration was in 1938. First Muslim public holiday in colonial Nigeria: Date: Wednesday, July 20, 1938. that’s when the West African Pilot ran the headline: “Muslim Community Rejoices Over Govt’s Grant Of Holidays”. For years, Muslim groups kept pushing. They wrote letters, held meetings, and argued that if Britain preached “justice and equity”, then Eid days deserved the public holidays. Groups like the Ahmadiyya Movement and Ansar-ud-Deen Society were at the front of that campaign. The Government finally caved in 1938. The colonial admin made Eid El-Fitri and Eid El-Kabir official public holidays across Nigeria. That was the first time the British recognized Islamic festivals in Nigerian law. The West African Pilot newspaper said mosques in Lagos were buzzing with “enthusiasm” during Friday prayers that week. Eid El-Maulud was added later, but 1938 was the breakthrough, the moment Fitri and Kabir moved from community celebrations to national holidays and they’ve stayed on the Nigerian calendar since then. Newspaper sourced from Ed Keazor.

When David Beckham signed with the LA Galaxy in 2007, Real Madrid's president publicly said Beckham was going to Hollywood to become "half a film star." He meant it as an insult. He wasn't wrong. Beckham buried a $25 million expansion clause in the contract, one that let him buy any MLS franchise upon retirement. He exercised it in 2014, founding Inter Miami CF. The club is worth over $1.2 billion now. The San Diego FC expansion franchise, sold in 2024, cost new owners $500 million. Beckham paid 20 times less for the same thing, a decade earlier. That same contract forced the league to create the "designated player" rule, sometimes called the Beckham Rule, which lets a club sign one elite player outside the league's wage limits. The rule, applied 16 years later to bring Lionel Messi to Miami, pushed Inter Miami's revenue from $60 million to $190 million in a single year. They went from 13th in MLS revenue to first. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce added a Sports Entertainment category in 2021 for athletes who built second careers in entertainment after retiring. Beckham qualified through Studio 99, the production company he co-founded. The Netflix documentary Studio 99 made reached the top 10 in all 90 countries where Netflix tracks viewership. His holding company posted $44.9 million in profit in 2024. In 2022, a brand licensing firm called Authentic Brands Group paid a reported $269 million to buy 55% of his business. A Walk of Fame star costs $85,000 to install. He once paid $25 million for a team now worth $1.2 billion. MLS TV rights were worth $8 million a year when Beckham arrived in 2007. They're $250 million now. His arrival reshaped what the whole league was worth to broadcasters. The Sunday Times Rich List puts the combined Beckham fortune at £1.185 billion (around $1.5 billion) in 2026. In 2025, King Charles knighted him. Football made him famous. The $25 million clause built what came after. When he knelt and touched his name on the star, three of his four children stood behind him. His eldest lives 20 minutes away.

“You cannot arrest somebody just because the person is speaking on radio” - Peter Obi. Convicted Terrorist Nnamdi Kanu speaking on radio:
Jun 13
Peter Obi’s call for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, a convicted terrorist, is misguided and divisive. Political Leaders should not be making statements to excuse and legitimise actions that threaten Nigeria’s stability. National unity and security concerns must remain paramount.

1200 men have played for England. I'm guessing 900 are dead. That leaves 300. Out of those 300 I've seen 1 England player as a regular at England games with a flag. Me. So it's not 1200 men, it's 1. Beckham, Rooney and Co ( rightly) get the Royal treatment. I just want a Cat 3, behind the goal with my mates and a flag.
Replying to @StanCollymore
The FA get 3,800 tickets and 1,200 are available to ex-players? Tough on the fans if so.

2010. South Africa. They said theft will be at an all-time high. Unsafe for world cup. Didn't happen. 2014. Brazil. Complained about some of the remote places the venues were. Unsafe for players. Didn't happen. 2018. Russia. "It's not a democracy". There would be marginalization. People would not even be free or allowed entry. Didn't happen. 2022. Qatar. " Slave built stadiums ". A morally bankrupt nation. " It cannot be fun". The tournament is horrible. No alcohols. Religious intolerance. Didn't happen. 2026. US. All the above happening. We see.
