The Trump administration has announced they'll need to spend an estimated $1 billion to combat the New World Screwworm.

This is so insanely corrupt, I can’t even believe it. More than half the donors to Trump’s $400 million White House ballroom just won over $50 billion in new federal contracts in six months. And here’s the part that should make your blood boil. Sixteen of these 27 donors were facing federal enforcement actions, antitrust reviews, labor cases, securities charges. Many of those cases have been quietly dropped or scaled back since Trump took office. You write a check, your legal problems disappear. That’s not a coincidence. The White House won’t even release the full donor list. They’re hiding it on purpose, because daylight is the one thing pay-to-play can’t survive. A federal judge already ruled ballroom construction has to stop until Congress authorizes it. Government is supposed to serve the people, not auction itself off to the highest bidder. When access goes to whoever pays the most, working families always end up paying the price. We either end the corruption, or the corruption will end us. wapo.st/3QmJjSz

This deep, aggressive slide into anti-intellectualism is so infuriating because we’re not even combatting opposing views with merit anymore, it’s just fully grown adults being defiantly incurious morons.

The Trump Administration is now CELEBRATING Americans paying more for gas and putting more on their credit cards. They’re literally bragging about people getting squeezed. Totally out of touch!
Hassett on American consumers: "Credit card spending is through the roof. They're spending more on gasoline, but they're spending more on everything else too."

Anyways…
PROPAGANDA BUSTED: Fox’s OutKick ran an entire hit piece on Ohio gubernatorial candidate Dr. Amy Acton based on tweets from a parody account they didn’t bother to verify. They presented the posts as real, built a narrative around them, and used it to attack her record, only to later admit, in a small editor’s note, that the account was fake and not affiliated with Acton at all. Well, at least they acknowledged Acton's team "claimed" that despite it being the truth. And what did they do after realizing the entire premise of their story was false? They left it up. No full retraction. No accountability. Just a quiet half correction at the top while the entirely fake story remains live.

Voter ID is common sense. I’ve always supported voter ID. The SAVE Act is not a voter ID bill. It goes way, way, way beyond voter ID. It’s a voter suppression bill.

Sanders: You have to have an ID to return something to a department store. It shouldn’t be harder than that to vote in our elections.

Hassett: "If the war were to be extended, it wouldn't really disrupt the US economy very much at all. It would hurt consumers, and we'd have to think about what we'd have to do about that, but that's really the last of our concerns right now."

Notice how the flag wasn’t lowered to half-staff for fallen service members… but it was lowered for a podcaster. Let that sink in. The people who died serving this country didn’t get the honor but a media personality did. That tells you everything about this administration’s priorities. 🇺🇸

This was called DOGE at the last SOTU, and before that we called it the Oversight Committee. Nobody in DC is serious about cutting fraud, because one man’s fraud is another man’s re-election program. When I offered an amendment to end the daycare fraud, the Speaker blocked it.
President Trump announces VP Vance will be LEADING the administration’s war on fraud: “I am officially announcing the war on fraud to be led by our great Vice President JD Vance...We're going to take care of this problem. We are not playing games.” 🇺🇸
