@StaniKulechov from
@aave said “DeFi will win!” This week at
@EFDevcon in Buenos Aires it truly felt like DeFi has already won.
If you were not in Buenos Aires and only followed the market, you might have slipped into a bearish sentiment. Being there among builders was the complete opposite. No one talked about crypto prices and the atmosphere could not have been more bullish.
@Vault__Summit was a blast. It was great to see our friends
@Mona_El_Isa @LucaMossini from our partner
@enzymefinance rocking the stages, and it was clear that most people there directly associated on chain asset management with Enzyme.
It is great to see how DeFi that started in 2017 and used to be a Degens playground has grown into a real world financial system where institutional capital is flowing in. And this is only the beginning.
My personal highlight was randomly talking to someone who turned out to be an institutional asset manager who knows and actively uses our rebalancing solution
@31ThirdProtocol . He said he loves it because it saves him a lot of time.
What concerned me a bit as a European, while talking about how we are working on making DeFi compliant in Europe with
@valuyacloud , is that people outside Europe often responded with “Who cares about Europe?” At the same time, successful companies are already moving their business out of Europe for regulatory reasons and better market opportunities. I prefer having regulatory clarity, although I am not sure if having a well regulated but illiquid market will end well for the European Union.
Hasta luego!
