Why should Americans have to compete with foreign citizens for jobs? It’s pretty simple really… if the patricians import more labor, the cost of labor goes down but they still sell approximately the same amount of good and services because the pool is larger

When they say “Americans won’t do the job that’s why we need immigrants” what they really mean is: Americans won’t be exploited anymore.
Look at @Uber as an example. They used to pay wages that were decent, but with all the inflation happening, uber has actually lowered wages to their drivers. How can they get away with this? Because of an influx in foreign workers who are trying to get ahead.
I don’t blame the foreign workers, but let’s not pretend it isnt driving down wages so that corporations can keep their massive profits.
