Today was a beautiful day for @DTheodros, his lovely family and our lab. He is the 1st @Zarif_Lab student to graduate earning both his MD and PhD. His research helped shape our lab in many ways and we are really ecstatic about his future in Neurosurgery and immunology research!

Exciting to chair the myeloid session today #AACR22 - The room was super packed highlighting how much myeloid cell biology is now at the center of cancer therapeutic discovery
V interesting myeloid cell session this morning @ #AACR22 ft. 4 stellar @CancerResearch scientists: Brian Brown, @MiriamMerad, Ira Mellman, & @RayArja. As Mellman noted, “Although we focus predominantly on T cells in IO, they would be nowhere were it not for the myeloid cells.”
